Confidentiality
Bauman MSTU Translations Center takes great care of the information given to us by our clients for written translations or information gained by our employees while interpreting. Today, information is priceless, therefore we developed a strict internal system of measures to protect this information and its application regardless of whether a confidentiality agreement has been signed between our company and a client.
Our internal system consists of the following measures for the protection and confidentiality of our clients’ information:
- Non-disclosure agreements with all full and part-time employees of our company.
- Storage of materials received for translation in electronic form, as well as all completed translations in an electronic database with a high encryption strength. (1024-bit key with a unique cryptographic character encoding algorithm developed by researchers in the department of “Information and Control Systems” of Bauman MSTU). Access to the archived database from external networks is physically impossible, while access from within the company is restricted by a security policy that employs modern biometric access control systems and a multilevel system of protection from unsanctioned physical access to the servers.
- Storage of electronic materials on high-end, fault-tolerant servers with multilevel RAID-disk arrays and real-time reserve standby applications.
- Materials for translation (given by clients to our translation center in printed format or by fax) are returned to the client at the moment of completion of the work or are destroyed (at the request of the client) immediately after the completion of work with the use of document shredders and magnetic carriers with a confidentiality level no less than 5;
Applying all the above-mentioned measures, we can guarantee the safety of any of your company’s confidential information given to us for translation.
